Bhagya received an India Master’s in Computer Application from Indira Gandhi National Open University, an India Post Graduate Computer Diploma from National Institute of Information Technology and an India B.S. in Zoology from Utkal University.
Having worked and gained expertise in the technology domain for six years, it was time for me to sharpen my business acumen by attending a top-tier business program, such as the one offered at the Rady School.
The entrepreneurial environment at Rady, blended with the support from the local business community, has given a boost to my career. The diverse perspectives brought into the classroom by my classmates and faculty have helped me add additional dimensions to my problem-solving skills. It also helped me to think critically and remain competitive in this ever-changing business world.
The Rady School provides an innovation-driven global environment, and enhances leadership potential by encouraging us to participate in activities such as business forums, business competitions and summits. It fosters innovation and entrepreneurial attitudes. I always wanted to attend a program that would not only give me an edge over my colleagues in other business schools, but also bring out the best out of me.
The U.S. is a great melting pot of cultures and businesses. Hence, an MBA degree in the U.S. is like a “cherry on the cake” to my highly intense and competitive Indian academic background. It also provides the international exposure to help me gain new perspectives from those I collaborate with in and outside the academic environment.
The Rady MBA not only helps me grow professionally, but also lets me achieve new heights in my personal growth. The resources available at the Rady School and UC San Diego are highly beneficial in achieving these goals.
